Black History Month Celebration Raleigh
For the second year, a unique collaboration between Wake County Public Libraries and Wake County Parks, Recreation, & Open Space featured the annual Black History Month Celebration at the Wake County Office Park.  Free family events took place in both the Wake County Commons Building and Historic Oak View County Park from with a hay wagon shuttle operating continuously between the two sites.  LéGrant Taylor was a presenting artist at this event.

October - November 2011
On Display at Wake County Public Library
Southeast Regional Branch
LéGrant Taylor was the featured artist for the month of October and November, 2011 at the Southeast Regional Branch of the Wake County Public Library.
This event was memorable for LéGrant because it was his first display in his hometown of Garner, NC.

November 19 - 20, 2011
Durham Art Walk
LéGrant Taylor was a participating artist in the Fall 2011 Durham Art Walk.
The artist's booth was located in the newly renovated Durham Arts Council Building at 120 Morris Street in downtown Durham.


April 2 - 4, 2011 
African American Cultural Festival
LéGrant Taylor was a participating artist in the 2011 African American Cultural Festival held in downtown Raleigh, NC on the Fayetteville Street City Plaza area.  http://www.aacfralwake.org


Friday, July 15, 2011 
Artist's Reception and Meet and Greet at Express Library
The reception was held from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Thank you to the over 150 friends and visitors who came out to view the art and meet the artist.
The awesome food was provided by "Prime Smokehouse" ( 
http://www.primesmokehouse.com/ ).  
We had visitors from Raleigh and surrounding areas, Atlanta, New York, Florida, the NC Outer Banks, and South Carolina.  A great time was had by all!

Featured Artist at Express Library
LéGrant Taylor was the featured artist for the month of July, 2011 at the Express Library in downtown Raleigh, NC. His art was on display in the library for the entire month of July. Library patrons enjoyed viewing the art as they visited the library.

LéGrant Taylor was a participating artist in the Spring 2011 Durham Art Walk.
